Some people use rose shrubs as an accent to formal or informal landscaping. Others use them to balance out the silhouette of their landscape. You could also use roses to complement the herb garden you’ve worked so hard to cultivate.

This works nicely especially if you have children that need an activity to keep them occupied with. Just seek to charge a nominal fee. Nothing exorbitant. But don’t just give them away for free. You’ve invested time, soil, sweat and if we are dealing with roses here, probably a few pricks from thorns and briars.
In some parts of the world like France, the growers of flowers and herbs do big business. They sell their herbs and flowers to perfume companies who are more than happy to get fresh fragrant flowers direct from French gardens. You never really know which combination of flowers will make that next blockbuster fragrance.
