Rose Tree Garden Planting
Dear Friend,
Rose tree garden planting is a very important endeavor. You should avoid picking a location without a few considerations we’ll reveal below. The cost of a plant can add up over time. And who wants the frustration of seeing a dieing tree? Not you right?
1. First and foremost one of the most important things you should consider when it comes to choosing the right place for your new plant involve the sun. If you select a location that gets to much or to little sunlight, that could pose a problem. The intense sun rays beating down on your plant with direct sunlight may cause your plant to die of over exposure to the sun.
2. The second consideration for your new plants health concerns what you put it in. That is the soil. Not all soil is created equal. If your soil is filled with so many rocks, pebbles or stones, this will be felt by your plant directly. You can see so far, that planting roses is not as simple as digging a hole, dropping it inside, recovering it with earth and letting it grow.
Some times you have soil that is filled with clay. The clay acts to pull water away from your plants. This leaves your plants dieing and early grave. Good sold should clump together when you squeeze it in the palm of your hand. You can make a tight fist of it and it will pull together. Try it and see. Other things to look out for but are difficult to see with the naked eye are soil that is filled with to much chalk, limestone or has a very acidic quality. You could buy some equipment to test the soil before planting but most gardeners try to avoid unnecessary expenses like this if they can.
3. Watch out for the location of where your plant is going to go. If you place it among other shrubs, plants, and trees, not all of those plants are complementary. Some do better by others. While some are more or less a detriment to their partners in the ground. Especially if placed to close to them.
You see, what happens is that your larger plants will require more of the nutrients and water that comes into the soil. If you have a starter rose bush going, the starter is not strong enough to pull the earths resources to it. What you will have is a starving plant.
Mixing rose plants together is a good idea. But only if you are using certain non threatening plants. For example most rose plants like to be mixed with other rose plants. So mixing different varieties of roses, from pinks, to black, to whites even yellow roses, can be very beautiful.
In conclusion, now that you’ve got the ideal location for your new rose, just consider these basic tips to avoid killing your plant. When you dig the hole, you’ll probably need to dig the hole a little larger than the pot or bag the plant came in. Depth and width can vary. So, simply read the bag for the variety of rose that you want to plant. It is always a god idea to place a little compost or fertilizer in the bottom of the hole. Think of this as starter growth food. Your new plant will be well on its way to a blossoming blooming beginning in your garden.
